The site mentions that they are offering ‘selected titles’ from Experiment, Design and Statistics in Psychology but it looks to me as if the entire textbook might be here.
Colin Robson, Professor Emeritus at the University of Huddersfield, calls his book a ‘cook-book.’ It is designed to direct students to the right ‘recipe’ and then explains how to use that recipe to solve the problem. His text is not geared for students who plan to make statistics their life’s work but for those who will utilized statistical tools in pursuit of their own.
Students will only require exposure to algebra. Robson, in explaining his own level of mathematical knowledge, mentions the enjoyment he derives “in initiating students – particularly those who shy away from anything mathematical and have to be handled with a very loose rein – into the mysteries and delights of designing and analysing experiments.”
